International Women’s Day & Barclays Bank

Saturday 8th March was International Women’s day and Nusrat Sharif in conjunction with her employer, Barclays Bank used an event at Walthamstow Assembly Hall to raise funds for Smiles. Over 750 women attended and over 50 Exhibitors from Waltham Forest were on show. Barclay’s Walthamstow Hoe Street Branch raised £538.00 selling raffle tickets, tea coffee and cakes. Nusrat herself raised £1000.00 at the event selling raffle tickets for Smiles. What a fantastic effort and a huge thank you to Nusrat and her colleagues.
